Hello World. What’s good with you. This is Deleswa from Deleswa Productions, founder of beatzville.com (2019-2026) and daddygrandbeats.com (2026). Some of you may know me or have heard about me, but for those who haven’t— I am a 59-year old music producer from Columbus, Ohio who loves to make beats. And if I were to best describe my beats, I would say that they are mostly centered around hip hop with a diverse multi-genre and melodic appeal.

I began my musical journey in the mid-1980’s as a Street Dj (Columbus,Ohio) and Club Dj (Songtan, Korea), but I eventually started making beats around 1990 as a hobby. Remember the Tascam 424 4-track cassette Portastudio and the Yamaha x3500 Keyboard. That is where it began for me. And for about 20 years, it remained a hobby until I decided to take it seriously— launching myself into the deep as a professional music producer and as a published music artist in 2010.

And today, surprisingly— I am still in the game. Just as inspired and hungry as I was in the beginning 16 years ago. Still learning new things and growing by occasionally collaborating with those in my musical circle of connections. And still active as a lead bassist in support of church worship services that have spanned the globe (USA, Korea, Italy, Germany) since 1992.

Most recently I collabed with New York-based rapper Johnny Dukane to release our first single together titled “Simple Life (Deleswa Remix). It is currently on all streaming platforms if you would like to check it out. Also, I have have an upcoming release from a collab I did with the very talented Emily Russo. She basically dropped an amazing original track that really inspired me. So I asked if I could remix it and the answer was yes. The music is done and as soon as the visual for the song is complete, it will be shared with the public. Lastly, there is a huge album project titled “Legacy X” that has been in the works for some time. This album will be released by none other than the amazing Australian rapper— LFiers. His album will feature around nine tracks that I produced, which is truly a blessing. 

And a word to my creatives out there (rappers, singers, writers) as well as screenwriters, TV, and film...
